Schultz, Verna (18 SEP 1935)

A pretty fall wedding occurred Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Parsonage when Miss Verna Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schultz, became the bride of Mr. Harvey Rosenquist of the town of Hoard. (Clark Co., Wis.). The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. John Brandt.

The bride was tastily attired in an ankle length gown of wine velveteen with harmonizing accessories and carried a shower bouquet of mixed roses. Her bridesmaid, Miss Hilma Rosenquist, Glencoe, Ill., sister of the groom, wore a purple velveteen and carried a bouquet of lilies and roses. The groom and his attendant, Albert Schultz, brother of the bride, wore dark suits.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents with covers laid for ninety guests. A reception and dance were held in the evening at the Hinke Hall.

The happy young couple will be at home to their many friends next week at the home of the groom’s parents eight miles west and one mile south of Dorchester, where they will reside for the present.

Out of town relatives attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wilke of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. John Meschefski and daughter, Dolly, of Stetsonville, and Mrs. Otto Hinkleman of Merrill, Miss Hilma Rosenquist of Glencoe, Ill., and a large group of relatives and friends from surrounding country.

The Clarion join the many friends of the couple in wishing them much joy and prosperity in future years.
